DZ Drivers

The Salt Depot is now hiring for a full-time DZ license heavy equipment operator to work as part of a construction maintenance team, undertaking water and sweeping services which may also include a range of general maintenance activities. 

If you are an experienced heavy equipment operator and meet the following requirements apply with us today.

Requirements & Responsibilities: 

 

• Ability to safely and competently operate and maintain a street sweeper, watertruck and minor plant, and identify any necessary repairs

• Experience with relevant civil works construction and maintenance programs

• Ability to effectively carry out maintenance and cleaning duties, including street cleani

• Ability to work unsupervised following instructions and procedures, including keeping accurate work records and reporting issues to Supervisor

• Be physically fit with the ability to work safely in a manual environment

• Ability to co-operate with the general public and work as part of an effective team

• Ability to assist in training of other employees in street sweeper

 

Qualifications: 

 

• DZ License is mandatory,  - AZ license is an asset.

• Must have minimum 5 years DZ driving experience.
